Dr. Michael Mansour, a cardiologist and past president of the Mississippi State Medical Association, who practices at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, served as Legislative Doctor of the Day at the Capitol on Friday, March 26, 2021. In that capacity, Dr. Mansour was available to provide emergency medical treatment to lawmakers and staff. Dr. Mansour is standing with his daughter, Emily Mansour, a first year medical student at University of Mississippi Medical Center and Senator Derrick T. Simmons, who introduced them.
