Senator Derrick T. Simmons of Greenville will be guest speaker for Jackson State University’s 138^th Founders’ Day Convocation at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Tower Lawn and Quad, outside the Henry P. Jacobs Administration Tower.

Senator Simmons, who operates a law firm in his home town with twin brother Errick, who will introduce him, is a 2000 graduate of Jackson State and is chairman of the Senate Enrolled Bills Committee.
