The Mississippi Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials honored state Senator Kenneth Wayne Jones for outstanding service to their communities and organization.

The Mississippi Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials, which is comprised of all African American mayors, councilmen, aldermen and selectmen, recently presented an award honoring state Senator Kenneth Wayne Jones for outstanding service to their communities and organization.

The award was presented by Mayor Pro Tempore Joyce Arceneaux Mathis of Natchez.

“It is so humbling and such an honor to be recognized by my peers around the state for outstanding leadership and community service,” Senator Jones said.
